There are few things outside of our children and families that our culture loves more than his pet. In fact, some survey companies believe that the Americans alone spend over 4 billion dollars each year on their pets (and is in a "down" economy!) Even if you do not want not take care of your dog to the tune of $ 4 billion or even 4000, you probably are interested in what you can do to keep happy and healthy as long as possible.
There are many ways to do this, but many of the best ways are based on health natural and common sense. Here are three things you can do to prolong the life of your dog and to continue to enjoy every moment of the day.
1. Make sure they get enough exercise.
Even lazy dogs and old dogs need their daily walk, and they will be happier and better behavior when they get it. Just as exercise releases endorphins in humans that make us feel happy and optimistic after meeting training, the dogs get the same natural "high" play drive or walk around the block. Make sure your dog receives a certain type exercise every day, whether a quick getaway on a leash or just a good game to look into the courtyard.
2. Give them time with their "friends."
Dogs are naturally pack animals, and they get lonely, just like people do. If your dog is confined in the home all day while you're at work or relaxing in your yard while on his solo and then see about setting up some play dates with other dogs with your dog. Some even their dogs to daycare, as children, but you do not need to go that far, unless you want. Having a friendly companion in the same area can really boost the morale of your dog and make them less aggressive and demanding on your time a Once you get home, though of course they are always going to be happy to see you.
3. Make sure they get good dietary supplements.
Like humans, dogs have specific dietary needs. They may actually benefit many supplements as well as we do. In the past few decades, doctors have begun to recommend a variety of dietary supplements to help dogs live longer and happier. Omega 3 fish oil tops the list, because it can help older dogs with arthritis, improves canine vision and may even help prevent heart problems and improve canine memory that deteriorates with age.
You should always consult your physician before starting your dog on any dietary supplement such as fish oil. However, a good complement your dog may be the same as that which is good for you based on pure salmon oil and processed to get the best Omega 3 shapes in it.
